Newcastle United have reportedly set their sights on Vasco Da Gama forward Eguinaldo.
The Magpies are currently in the process of bolstering their academy ranks and are on the lookout for world-class youngsters.
In the last few weeks, Newcastle secured the signing of Australian starlet Garang Kuol from Central Coast Mariners.

Now, according to 90Min, the Magpies are looking at two talents from Brazilian second division club Vasco.
Apparently, Newcastle are already in talks over midfielder Andrey Santos.
In addition, the Magpies have reportedly enquired about Eguinaldo, his teammate.

Eguinaldo is an 18-year-old attacker who can play across the whole front line.
The teenager came through the ranks of local side Artsul before joining Vasco in 2021.
Eguinaldo initially joined on loan before signing permanently on a five-year deal this summer.
He has three goals from 15 Serie B outings for Vasco this season, seven of which have been starts.

Eguinaldo has also been called up to the Brazil Under-20 squad, recognition for his talent and form.
According to Football Talent Scout, he is ‘similar’ to Gabriel Jesus in terms of style of play.
As per Jacek Kulig, Eguinaldo boasts numerous good traits including ‘great acceleration, agility, flair, body balance, changes of pace, and coordination’.
He is also a ‘player with very good technical ability, 1vs1 short-dribbling skills, close ball control, and fast direction shifts in possession’.
