Newcastle United have reportedly been dealt a setback in their pursuit of Liverpool attacker Harry Wilson this summer and it looks like he won’t be moving to St James’ Park.
According to the Sun, Bournemouth have moved into pole position ahead of Newcastle and Aston Villa for the 22-year-old.
The report explains that Bournemouth are preparing a £25million bid for the Wales international
Meanwhile, Sky Sports reports that Newcastle are “unlikely” to sign the Liverpool winger, as he is not available on loan this summer.
It is understood that Steve Bruce is keen on bringing him to St James’ Park on loan, but Liverpool would prefer a permanent exit and value him at over £20million.

TBR’s View:
Wilson certainly looks ready to take the step up to the top-flight, as he was in brilliant form last season on loan at Derby County with 18 goals in 49 games.
The right-winger would be an exciting addition at Newcastle, but it looks like they are being price out of a permanent move for him.
A £20million-plus price tag is a slight risk for the Liverpool wide man, but Bournemouth may be a strong fit for him.
Newcastle need their own winger Miguel Almiron to hit the ground running at the start of the season and he needs a first goal to release some pressure.
