Newcastle United striker Joelinton has been struggling for the Magpies as a result of failing to settle in a new country on his own.
That’s according to an exclusive report from the Telegraph, which claims the Brazilian is to be encouraged to bring family members over from his homeland to help him.
Joelinton completed a £40 million transfer this summer (BBC Sport), but has only managed to score one goal in his first 10 appearances for the club.

The team have been struggling as a collective, and the supply to the South American has not been the best in the 23-year-old’s defence, although fans will have expected slightly more given his transfer fee.
Apparently, Joelinton has made a good effort to integrate and there are no question marks over his commitment, but there is ‘genuine sympathy’ for an individual who lives alone in an apartment in Newcastle.
Manager Steve Bruce has apparently asked Andy Carroll to act as a mentor to Joelinton in the hope of making him feel more comfortable and confident.
TBR’s view – Joelinton needs time, and service
One has to feel a bit for Joelinton, as he has a lot of expectation on his young shoulders.

He has arrived with a huge fee, which was something out of his control, and is playing as the lone striker in a team that struggles to create chances.
His time at Hoffenheim suggests there is a talented player in there, but he just needs to be allowed to develop in a new division before being judged properly.
Once he is feeling more comfortable, the goals should start to come.
