French newspaper L’Equipe have claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are willing to sell left-back Stanley Nsoki for just £5.3million this summer, amid repeated links with a move to Newcastle United.
The 20-year-old has only managed 15 league and cup appearances this season for PSG, with the likes of Juan Bernat preferred to the France Under-21 international.
Nsoki, a product of PSG’s academy, still has two years remaining on his current contract but the French club are desperate to offload the defender, who can also play at centre-back.
The Chronicle claimed last summer that Newcastle were interested in signing Nsoki, and his name has continually cropped up in reports – consistently linking the defender with a move to Tyneside.

L’Equipe reckon Nsoki is available for a fee between £5.3million and £7.1million, but Newcastle will find plenty of competition if they look to finally lure him to St. James’ Park. Lille and Marseille are both said to be interested.
TBR’s view
With Lille offering Champions League football after finishing second in Ligue 1, Nsoki may feel that remaining in his home country and becoming a regular there is the best move.
However, if the defender has a sentimental feeling towards PSG, then he may opt against signing for PSG’s direct rivals for the Ligue 1 title throughout 2018-19.
It remains to be seen if Newcastle will be interested Nsoki this summer and reignite their interest in the defender. That could remain on whether Rafa Benitez remains at Newcastle.
