TeamTalk claim that Newcastle have joined Premier League trio Leeds, Wolves and West Ham in the race to sign Rangers ace Glen Kamara.
Kamara, 25, has been excellent for Rangers ever since joining Steven Gerrard’s side in January 2019. He has played 110 times for the Gers.
Costing Rangers just £50,000, he is one of the bargains of British football in recent years. Proof of that, is Premier League clubs becoming interested.
With just five days left to go in this summer’s transfer window, Newcastle are the latest club that are now keen on signing Finland star Kamara.
The Toon join West Ham, Leeds and Wolves in the chase to sign the midfielder. The Mail say Rangers rate him at around £10million.

Which move best for Rangers star Kamara – Leeds, Newcastle, West Ham or Wolves?
All four sides genuinely need a midfielder. Leeds could do with cover for Kalvin Phillips, and competition further forward for Mateusz Klich.
But the likelihood is that the Finland ace does not start. It is a similar story at Wolves, with Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho still at the club.
West Ham could do with cover for Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice – but again, he does not start for the Hammers. Newcastle, could be different.
On Tyneside, he would have competition from Jonjo Shelvey, Sean Longstaff, Isaac Hayden and others. But Kamara probably gets in.
Does he want to join Newcastle? West Ham could be tempting, with West Ham in the Europa League. An interesting few days for Kamara.
