Newcastle United are reportedly considering a move for PAOK defender Dimitris Giannoulis.
According to Greek publication Sportime, the Magpies have joined the race for the left-back, who is also supposedly on the radars of Marseille and Watford.
PAOK are said to be after a fee in the region of €5 million to €6 million/£4.5 million to £5.4 million for the 24-year-old, who has seven caps for the Greece national team.

Newcastle are in clear need of reinforcements at left-back having seen Danny Rose return to Tottenham Hotspur after his loan move.
Jetro Willems also headed back to his parent club Eintracht Frankfurt, after his 2019/20 campaign was derailed by a serious knee injury.
Giannoulis has been with PAOK since 2014 and has had various loan spells.
But last term the star caught the eye for his parent club, contributing one goal and six assists for the Thessaloniki-based outfit.
TBR’s View – Low-risk gamble
Newcastle are said not to have too much money to spend this summer, and so, barring a successful club takeover, it’ll be all about picking up those bargains for Steve Bruce.

Giannoulis would represent something of a gamble, but he is a full international and a good age to improve.
To land him for around £5 million would surely mean this a relatively low-risk move from Newcastle.
