Il Milanista say Newcastle are battling Milan and Leipzig for Marseille star Boubacar Kamara – with the player likely to be available on the cheap.
Kamara, 21, is one of the best young players in French football at the moment – as he continues to shine as one of Marseille’s best players.
Despite his age, he has already clocked up an enormous 133 appearances for the Ligue 1 side. He came into the team under Andre Villas-Boas.
The Mirror claimed in the summer that Steve Bruce was battling Liverpool and Manchester City for Kamara. He was rated at £15million.
But nothing came off, and Kamara has remained at Marseille. Now, he is in the final few months of his contract – which expires in June 2022.
January is set to be the final window Marseille can get some cash – but non-French sides can now get him for nothing, on a pre-contract agreement.

Kamara to Newcastle: Sign him in January, or on a pre-contract?
Newcastle desperately need a holding midfielder, capable of dictating the play and breaking up opposition attacks – marking no.10’s.
Not only that, but they could also do with cover at centre-back and Kamara can do both. But will he have instant impact?
Or is it better if Newcastle sign him in the summer? The likelihood is that Newcastle might actually make a bid in January, and spend some money.
But either way, getting Kamara is a coup – especially with Champions League side Milan interested in his services.
