Newcastle United and West Ham United are both reportedly interested in defender Prince-Désir Gouano.
According to a report from Le10 Sport, the Premier League sides are keen on the 26-year-old Amiens captain, who has been able to feature just three times this season having been injured.

He is supposedly ready to return to action, but for how many more games he’ll play for Amiens remains to be seen.
Gouano, also supposedly wanted by Watford, has been with the French outfit since 2017 after transferring from Atalanta following a string of loan spells, including one to Bolton Wanderers in 2015.
The 6ft 2in central defender – who was once on the books of Juventus as a youngster – has a contract until 2021 with Amiens.
TBR’s view – Newcastle and West Ham should steer clear
Realistically Newcastle have done well enough defensively this year to suggest they don’t need reinforcements this month.

They’ve lost Jamaal Lascelles but have coped well in his absence and it won’t be long before he’s back.
Unlike the Magpies, West Ham probably do need defenders, but Gouano would definitely be a bit of a risk.
Surely the relegation-threatened Hammers have to be aiming a little higher – also, having played very few games this term automatically puts question marks against him fitness-wise.
