Jeunes Footeux claim that Newcastle United and West Ham United are looking to sign FC Copenhagen and Denmark striker Jonas Wind.

Wind, 22, has been in sensational form for his hometown club. The striker has already clocked up 104 games for his side, scoring a huge 43 goals.

Not only that, but Wind – who was a part of Denmark’s Euro 2020 squad that reached the semi-finals – has clocked up 24 assists for Copenhagen.

But his form has attracted interest from all around Europe, most notably West Ham and Newcastle. That is according to the latest report from JF.

They say that Wind could cost as much as £17million, with Copenhagen keen to receive a decent fee for their homegrown talent.

Wind to Newcastle or West Ham: Which best suits him?

A tricky one. West Ham clearly need a striker as cover for Michail Antonio, and Newcastle need a player to provide back-up for Callum Wilson.

Both strikers are quite injury prone – but Antonio is perhaps more important to West Ham, only just, than Wilson is to Newcastle.

West Ham can offer more game time given their participation in the Europa League, but perhaps, Newcastle is the more-exciting project.

Which best suits him? Right now, a move to West Ham is probably better for Wind. But in terms of the future, Newcastle could be more tempting.
