French outlet Le10Sport have claimed that Newcastle United and Everton are reportedly interested in signing Ajax star Donny van de Beek in the coming months, who is represented by super agent Mino Raiola.

Van de Beek, 23, has been in stunning form once again for Ajax this season – having a hand in 21 goals during 37 league and cup appearances this season. That is, despite playing in central midfield.

The nine-time Netherlands international has even netted twice in the Champions League, against Valencia and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Everton are keen on signing a midfielder, with Carlo Ancelotti also looking at Napoli star Allan.

Newcastle have also entered the fray for the Ajax-produced midfielder. Despite his young age, he already has 175 senior appearances for Ajax to his name – which has seen Real Madrid linked for quite some time.

Goal claimed in January that van de Beek had agreed a £47million move to Real Madrid in January, but it remains to be seen how much the Dutch club will want for their prized midfield asset this summer.

TBR’s view – Can either club tempt van de Beek without CL football?

Given that van de Beek has been playing in the Champions League and almost joined a side in January that are a staple of the competition, the midfielder will have a thirst for that level of football.

Newcastle and Everton are both unable to offer European football. They could look to tempt the Dutch ace with a lucrative offer, but it is much more likely that van de Beek will look to join Real in the coming months.
