Newcastle United have agreed terms to bring in Manchester United defender, Brandon Williams, on a loan deal, according to the Express.
The report claims the Magpies have agreed terms with the Red Devils for a short-term deal which would see Williams move to the northeast until the end of the current campaign.

Manager Steve Bruce has been desperate for new faces but knows the January window will revolve mainly around loan deals or moving players out before he brings anyone in. The signing of Williams, then, should please him, with the youngster capable of playing in a number of positions.
Williams broke onto the scene last season with United and scored a fine goal in a 3-3 draw with Sheffield United. However, the signing of Alex Telles and the consistency of both Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka has stunted his progress.

The youngster should get chances at St James’ Park, with Newcastle struggling for consistency and injury throughout the season.
Williams is reportedly (Spotrac) on £65k-a-week at Old Trafford after penning new terms last year.
A good move for Williams and Newcastle, hopefully he can kick on – TBR View
This is a smart piece of business all around, really. Williams has plenty of talent and needs to be playing, while Newcastle need new faces and fresh options for the second part of the season.
Steve Bruce should ensure Williams gets minutes under his belt while the player himself will be desperate to prove he belongs at the very top level. Smart business all around, then.
