Celtic attacker Odsonne Edouard is reportedly attracting interest from Italian club Napoli.
According to the Daily Mail, the Serie A side have been alerted to the 21-year-old during the last two years.
It is understood that Napoli are willing to make a “substantial offer” for the centre-forward, who is valued by the Bhoys at around £30million.
The report also details that Sampdoria, Atalanta and Borussia Dortmund have all expressed an interest too in the France Under-21 international.
It’s explained that Neil Lennon’s team are braced for a January approach for their star centre-forward, but would like to hold off at least until the summer.
Napoli are Champions League regulars with a lot of pedigree and they face Liverpool in the group stages of the competition.
It’s no surprise to see someone of their stature eyeing Edouard, who is surely in line to move on to an elite club after his spell at Parkhead comes to an end.
The Scottish champions need to try hold onto him for as long as they can, but they may be helpless if a big offer comes in for him.
Edouard has played 12 times across all competitions so far this campaign, scoring six goals and supplying five assists in return.
The 21-year-old has such a calmness about him in front of goal and he could be a major success if he ends up in Italy later in his career.
