The Sun have claimed that both Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris had grown fed-up of Jose Mourinho’s management during Tottenham Hotspur training – and that is said to have contributed to the Portuguese manager’s sacking.
Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham and Daniel Levy on Monday just days before Spurs take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday. He leaves Spurs having drawn with Everton, sitting in a lowly seventh place.
Ryan Mason took training yesterday though it remains to be seen if a new manager will be appointed this week. The latest report claims players had grown frustrated at his tactics, and being blamed in the press. Levy had no choice.
The report states that of those players, Kane and Lloris were ‘unhappy faces’ on the training ground – a place in which Levy patrols on a daily basis. That is said to have contributed to the decision to sack the ex-Man United boss.

TBR’s view – Right decision, but maybe next week?
Mourinho’s record in a cup final is unparalleled. He has won 12 of his 14 cup finals – an incredible stat that Levy really should have relied upon going into Sunday’s Carabao Cup clash against Manchester City.
However, it works both ways. Levy might have been unable to then sack Mourinho if they had defied the odds and beaten Pep Guardiola’s men. If he had lost, then it would have made sense for Mourinho to be sacked.
Either way, Mourinho is gone and now Spurs could benefit from a honeymoon bounce from a new manager.
