Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly focusing on trimming their squad size down in the final days of the transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
The outlet claims that Spurs trio Paulo Gazzaniga, Juan Foyth and Cameron Carter-Vickers could leave permanently, while Ryan Sessegnon is in line for a loan switch.
Tottenham have been linked with Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar and Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger in recent days but Jose Mourinho is said to be satisfied with his defensive options as it is.

While Spurs could potentially have another go at signing either player ahead of Monday’s deadline, the main priority is to bring the size of Mourinho’s squad down, added The Telegraph.
If Foyth and Carter-Vickers leave, Spurs would have two right-backs (Matt Doherty and Serge Aurier, reportedly set to stay), two left-backs (Ben Davies and Sergio Reguilon), three central defenders (Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld) and Japhet Tanganga, who can play in a number of defensive positions.
In goal, meanwhile, Tottenham have Hugo Lloris as first-choice and Joe Hart as back-up, with talented duo Brandon Austin and Alfie Whiteman in the Under-23s.
TBR View:
With Foyth and Carter-Vickers seemingly not in Mourinho’s plans and Gazzaniga now effectively third choice behind Lloris and Hart, it’s little surprise that they could reportedly be on the move.
Sessegnon, meanwhile, is a talented youngster and clearly has a future at Spurs, but first-team football elsewhere is probably the best option for all parties at the moment.
