Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos has emerged as a transfer target for five Bundesliga sides, according to Goal.com.
The 22-year-old defender and Greece Under-21 international has been on the books at Arsenal since January 2018, when he joined from PAS Giannina.
However, injury issues have led to him making just eight first-team appearances with the North London club, much of his game time coming for the Under-23s (Transfermarkt).

In January, Mavropanos joined 2. Bundesliga side FC Nurnberg on loan for the rest of the season, where he has made 10 appearances to date.
The 6ft 4in centre-back has helped his current side keep three clean sheets, which appears to have sparked interest in his services from Germany’s top flight.
The Goal.com report claims Mavropanos would favour remaining at Arsenal, but could be tempted by Germany due to the lack of playing time likely to be on offer under Mikel Arteta.
With William Saliba heading to the Emirates Stadium following his loan at Saint-Etienne, Mavropanos risks falling further down the pecking order.
He is yet to feature on the pitch under Arteta, though he has made his bench several times.
TBR View:
Mavropanos hasn’t had the rub of the green at Arsenal so far given his injuries but, at just 22, he’s got plenty of years ahead of him and has been thoroughly impressive on loan.
His Arsenal contract runs until 2023, so the ball is in the Gunners’ court in terms of his signature, and his salary is £25,000 a week, so there’s hardly a need to sell him to free up wages.
Were Arsenal to sell him, this would surely be a tad premature – they ought to see how his loan progresses and then give him another season to prove himself in the red shirt.
