David Moyes is planning to make a move to sign Michael Keane for West Ham should Everton fail to keep themselves in the Premier League, according to a report from the Daily Star.
The Toffees remain in trouble following Burnley’s win over Southampton on Thursday. In fact, Frank Lampard’s men could be in the bottom three by the time they kick off on Sunday. The Clarets only need to avoid defeat to move out of the relegation zone.

So Everton’s future is still precarious. And with that, some of their top-flight rivals are eyeing potential moves for the summer.
And according to the Daily Star, West Ham are interested in signing Keane as Moyes looks to strengthen in that area of the pitch.

The Hammers have had their squad stretched by injury this season. So a new centre-back is surely likely to be one of the priorities for the coming months.
And the Daily Star reports that Keane could cost just £20 million.
West Ham move could help Michael Keane get his career back on track
Like many of his Everton teammates, Keane has endured a torrid campaign. The 29-year-old has really struggled. He did not play against Leicester City in the week. Lampard left him on the bench.
Some West Ham fans may feel underwhelmed at the idea of Moyes bringing him to the London Stadium. However, Moyes’ track record suggests that a deal could prove to be better than many would expect.
For example, Craig Dawson is now a fan favourite. It is easy to forget that he had been relegated in his previous two Premier League campaigns before moving to West Ham.
Perhaps Keane – who Sean Dyche once labelled a ‘joy to watch‘ – could follow a similar path if he ends up joining the Hammers.
