Nikolaj Moller is reportedly set to complete a move from Malmo to Arsenal on deadline day after undergoing a medical at the Gunners’ London Colney training ground – and Goal claim the teenager will pen a four-year deal with Arsenal.

Moller, 18, returned to Malmo in January after leaving the Swedish side in the summer of 2018 to join Italian side Bologna – where he lasted 18 months. He is yet to make his professional debut at senior level, even for Malmo.

Dubbed the ‘new Ibra’ after Zlatan Ibrahimovic during his brief stint at Bologna – given his Swedish nationality and 6ft 4in frame – Moller is now on his way to Arsenal, firstly reported by Swedish website Aftonbladet.

Moller has since changed his Instagram bio, confirming he is an Arsenal player. Goal have now reported that Moller will join the club for a fee of £450,000, after undergoing a medical on Monday afternoon – where he will sign a four-year deal.

TBR’s view – Arsenal a lot busier than fans could have hoped for

The Daily Mail (17.02, Monday) have claimed that Arsenal are also set to sign Hertha Berlin teenager Omar Rekik for a fee of £900,000. It sees the Gunners complete a second Under-23 signing, with Hertha signing Matteo Guendouzi on loan.

Thomas Partey is also closing in on a move to Arsenal after multiple reports claimed Arsenal are ready to pay the £45million release clause for the Ghana midfielder. So Rekik, Moller and Partey could join Arsenal, with multiple leaving.
