Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has welcomed back some of his squad ahead of the Premier League restarting.
His team has been diminished by the ongoing World Cup, but those players will slowly return over the next few weeks.
A report from Football London has outlined Arteta’s plans before the league restarts on Boxing Day.
The squad will head out to Dubai on Sunday, with those players eliminated from the World Cup then making the short hop across to the UAE.
Arsenal will play a number of friendlies on their trip, which could hand some fringe members of the squad a chance to impress.
The report also suggests that a number of under-21 players will travel with the first team.

This is partly to make up the numbers, but also to give Arteta another opportunity to watch them.
The likes of Myles Lewis-Skelly and Matt Smith have been called up in training recently.
While Ethan Nwaneri made headlines when he became the first 15-year-old to play in the Premier League.
And before their trip, Arteta called up young goalkeeper Hubert Graczyk to first-team training.
Graczyk called up to first-team training
The 19-year-old has been a regular in goal for the under-21s this season, who are having a fine campaign.
He’s shared duties between the sticks with Karl Hein, who made his senior debut last month.
The pair are Arsenal’s most senior goalkeepers right now, with Aaron Ramsdale and Matt Turner both in Qatar.
It’s a great opportunity for Graczyk to be in first-team training, and he may even make his senior debut.

He’ll hope it goes better than Hein’s after the Estonian international gave away a penalty in a loss to Brighton.
Having the opportunity to be around the senior side will certainly help his development.
When signing a new deal with the Gunners last season, Graczyk was described as being known for his, ‘reaction saves and ability to play out from the back.’
The young Pole already has two of the key elements to be a top-class modern goalkeeper.
