Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino is being linked with a move to the Premier League and Tottenham Hotspur, and Italian outlet Sempre Inter have claimed that he can leave Antonio Conte’s side for just £17million.
Italian journalist and transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla claimed on Thursday that 28-year-old Vecino had ‘said yes’ to a move to Tottenham – with the chance to work under Jose Mourinho tempting the 41-time Uruguay international.
The report also suggests that Vecino, who joined Inter Milan from Fiorentina in the summer of 2017 for £20.5million (Goal), could be included in a deal that finally sees Christian Eriksen leave Spurs – and move to Inter.
Now, the latest story surrounding Vecino claims that Serie A side Lazio and several Premier League clubs have been offered Vecino and that the midfielder is available for £17million – if Spurs want him outside of a deal with Eriksen.

TBR’s view – Is £17m a good deal for Vecino?
Without a doubt. Although Spurs have added to their central-midfield options this month in Gedson Fernandes, a holding midfielder is still required given Eric Dier’s form and Victor Wanyama being frozen out. Vecino is capable of dropping back.
For £17million, Tottenham would be getting a player that has Champions League experience – with Inter’s number eight making three appearances even this season, and scoring against Borussia Dortmund.
They would also get a midfielder with huge experience at internatonal level. For £17million, he would be a bargain.
