Max Aarons is understood to be keen to join Everton this summer, but The Telegraph suggests that there may be a problem for the Toffees in their bid to sign the right-back.
Aarons is reportedly on Carlo Ancelotti’s radar after another hugely impressive campaign with Norwich City. Only Spurs loanee Oliver Skipp has made more appearances in a Championship campaign that is all but guaranteed to end in promotion.

Everton, of course, signed Ben Godfrey from the Canaries last summer. And it appears that the Toffees are looking to repeat the trick one year on.
The Telegraph notes that Aarons is keen to move to Goodison Park. However, Norwich’s £30 million asking price is set to be a problem.

According to the report, Everton are not prepared to pay that sort of price for Aarons.
TBR View: History suggests Everton may have to be the ones to budge
Everton may perhaps be in for a nasty shock if they hope to land Aarons for a lower fee. Norwich showed last summer that they will not make it easy for clubs to sign their best players.
Only a couple of key men moved on. And now they are set to return to the Premier League, they may find it even easier to dig their heels in.
Perhaps a compromise can be reached. But Everton can surely hardly expect to agree a huge discount.
