Everton are interested in a swoop on AZ Alkmaar for their star player Teun Koopmeniners this summer, according to a report.
The Sun is suggesting that Everton sporting director Marcel Brands is a big fan of the midfielder, who can also play in a number of different positions, after his excellent season with the Dutch club.
A reported fee in the region of £12 million would be enough to secure the player, who has also been attracting interest from AC Milan.

The 22-year-old defensive midfielder, who can also operate as a centre-back, has captained AZ to a stellar Eredivisie season in which they were battling Ajax for the title until it was officially declared void yesterday amid the global health crisis.
The AZ captain has scored 16 goals in 42 games and his ability to score goals and left-footed nature have even seen him compared to former Everton manager Ronald Koeman.
The Dutch under-21 international is yet to make his debut for the Dutch senior side but it appears only a matter of time.
Everton fans will undoubtedly be excited by this reported transfer activity, as Koopmeiners looks capable of becoming a Premier League star.
