Report: Many people say Fabio Paratici would have left North London if it wasn’t for ‘world class’ Tottenham man

Antonio Conte is the key factor behind Fabio Paratici remaining at Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report by the Telegraph.

They report that if Spurs were not able to appoint Conte last year, the director of football would have left north London already.

They also say that Paratici had a huge impact on the fact that Harry Kane did not leave last summer when Manchester City came calling.

Kane, Paratici and Conte are part of an exciting period for Tottenham as they prepare to travel to face Chelsea this weekend.

Conte helped keep Paratici at Tottenham

The report says the smart money is now on Kane signing a new deal at Spurs with City now having signed Erling Haaland instead.

Kane, Conte and Paratici seem to have flirted with an exit within the past 12 months or so but all three seem fully committed now.

A win at Chelsea would be a huge statement of Tottenham’s intent for the season ahead, where many are predicting that they can leapfrog their bitter rivals in the table.

Ben Davies has called Conte a ‘world class‘ manager and his arrival has certainly galvanised everyone at Tottenham since he came in.

He has given the club belief and the Italian would love nothing more than to win at the home of his employers this weekend.

Paratici and Conte seem to have formed a strong team at Tottenham and their transfer business has been done far earlier than usual this summer.
