Yaya Toure was invited by Sadio Mane to watch Liverpool during pre-season.
What’s the story?
According to the Athletic, the African duo share a great relationship off the field.
The Senegalese ace invited the former Manchester City star to the club’s training camp in Saalfelden. And he secured the permission of Jurgen Klopp, who allowed the Ivorian to attend.
Liverpool were based in Austria and France for their training camps this summer.
They faced Mainz and Hertha Berlin before returning to Merseyside to face Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna.
Klopp’s men travel to Norwich City on the opening day, the second time in the last three years the two have faced each other. The Reds ran out comfortable winners on the previous occasion, thrashing the Canaries 4-1 in 2019.

Liverpool need a fast start this season
This summer has proved as bonkers as ever.
Transfer spending has reached new heights, with some of the top clubs going big in the market.
It has increased the pressure on Liverpool massively who need a fast start, especially from Mane.
The Senegal international ended last campaign in red-hot form, scoring twice in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. It helped the club secure Champions League qualification.
But, overall, the winger endured one of his worst seasons for the Merseysiders.
With Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City going big this summer, he and his teammates can ill-afford a slow start.
Liverpool are the only title contenders to not strengthen their attack, with Ibrahima Konate the only signing so far.
Klopp clearly has faith in those who have got him this far, and can you blame him?
But, they cannot let the German down with the competition having been cranked up a notch.
Meanwhile, here’s our predicted XI for Liverpool’s opener.
