Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is one player who finds himself on Manchester United’s radar during the January transfer window, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men find themselves five points off the top four at this stage of the season. And they are the lowest goalscorers amongst the Premier League’s top six.

And that appears to have prompted United to take an interest in Edouard, according to the Mail. The 21-year-old has enjoyed another brilliant campaign with the Hoops.

Edouard has scored 13 goals in 17 Scottish Premiership games for the Hoops. And he has bagged five in his last eight appearances in all competitions.

It would be a big surprise if Celtic had any interest in selling Edouard this month. Their most recent defeat suggests that the title race could go right down to the wire, and Neil Lennon will not want to lose any of his key players.

The Red Devils are one side who can put an eye-watering offer on the table however. So it will be interesting to see if they can make a bid that leaves Celtic with a tricky decision.

Bhoys fans would be forgiven for fearing that keeping Edouard is only going to get tougher as each window passes. But it would be a massive shock if the youngster went anywhere during this particular window.
