Arsenal and Manchester United are set to face each other on Saturday lunchtime in a game which is hugely important in the top four race.

United face Liverpool tonight, then Arsenal and now Chelsea after their game with the Blues was rearranged as a result of their progress into the FA Cup final.

According to the Telegraph, United are not happy and feel that the decision hands their Champions League chasing rivals an advantage.

It is not clear what the alternative would be, and there is no clear other window when the match could be squeezed in.

United had a long break between their Champions League elimination and their return to action after the international break.

That was also due to the FA Cup, with Liverpool facing Nottingham Forest and that is why the game has been rescheduled for tonight.

That said, lots of managers at this stage of the season are complaining about having too many games, while United are seemingly concerned about long breaks between their fixtures.

That should mean they are fresh, and they do actually have an extra day’s recovery time after their midweek fixture than Arsenal.

Both sides face tough trips to Anfield and Stamford Bridge ahead of their bumper Saturday showdown, with Champions League qualification very much in the balance still.
