Report: Manchester City want Arsenal and Newcastle target Hugo Ekitike
Arsenal and Newcastle United target Hugo Ekitike is considering moving to the Premier League this summer, but Jeunes Footeux reports that the striker is also attracting interest from Manchester City.
Ekitike looks to be one of the most ‘special‘ striker prospects in Europe right now. He has scored nine times in 21 Ligue 1 games for Reims.
Unsurprisingly, a host of sides want the 19-year-old. Recent reports claimed that Arsenal are monitoring Ekitike closely as they prepare to try and put together a new forward line this summer.

Meanwhile, Newcastle almost signed the £25 million-rated forward on deadline day in January.
Jeunes Footeux reports that both clubs remain in the running for the teenager. And they have received a boost, with Ekitike considering moving to the Premier League this summer.
However, they are not the only English sides in the race. It is also suggested that Manchester City want Ekitike. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund continue to consider him as they prepare to potentially lose Erling Haaland.
Hugo Ekitike faces tough choice between Newcastle, Arsenal and Manchester City
On paper, Manchester City will be daunting opposition for Arsenal and Newcastle. Pep Guardiola’s side do need a striker this summer. And Ekitike may feel that moving to the Etihad Stadium opens the door for a brilliant opportunity.
But Arsenal and Newcastle are clubs on the rise. And they both have voids to fill in the striker department.
The Gunners could have Champions League football to offer next year. Meanwhile, Newcastle’s potential in the years to come is huge following their takeover.
So it may not be easy choice for Ekitike in the coming months if all three offer him the chance to move to the Premier League.
