The Mail have claimed that Premier League quartet Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Chelsea and Everton are all interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud – with his contract due to expire in the summer of 2022.
Dahoud, 25, has been in and out of the first team at Dortmund this season – clocking up 19 appearances in all competitions alongside the likes of Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland. But his long-term future is in doubt, due to his contract situation.
It is believed that clubs have made enquiries for Dahoud, who has broken into the starting line-up on a more regular basis of late. His more-recent form has even seen him earn two Germany caps against Turkey and the Czech Republic.
The report claims that four Premier League clubs want to sign Dahoud, who only joined Champions League side Dortmund back in the summer of 2017. It remains to be seen how much he will cost interested parties this summer.

TBR’s view – Which club needs Dahoud the most?
At Spurs, Moussa Sissoko has been poor and Tottenham need another midfielder that can partner Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in midfield with Tanguy Ndombele currently starting. Harry Winks is also an option, but is struggling to get game time.
He is needed, but not an immediate necessity at Spurs. City could do with a replacement for Fernandinho – who is out of contract but Dahoud is probably more attacking. Chelsea have numerous options, while Everton made two midfield signings last summer.
Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure have impressed since moving to Goodison Park – so North London is probably his best option.
