Manchester City are expected to announce the signings of Brazilian duo Kayky and Metinho, according to South Americna outlet, Netflu.
The report claims that Fluminese are already preparing to use the funds generated from the sales of Kayky and Metinho to solve some of their own financial issues. That, of course, suggests a deal may be close.

It was reported back in January that City had identified the Brazilian teenagers as potential future stars. City are expected to pay around £15m for the duo, who are both highly-rated in their homeland.
In particular, Kayky has been compared to PSG forward Neymar. Of course, it is a common comparison and one we have seen many times with young Brazilian players, with Ronaldo, Pele, and now Neymare the most frequently mentioned.
City are said to have an eye on their future and see both Metinho and Kayky as shrewd investments for their ever growing worldwide brand.
TBR View: You can never have too much talent, this is shrewd from Man City
Young Brazilian players usually go one of two ways. You either end up with a world beater who can be brilliant, or a player who doesn’t live up to the hype and ends up back in South America in a relatively short time.
City, though, need to think about how they can keep making money in the future. Of course, they’re cash rich anyway but they still need players within the ranks to develop and to sell on for profit if needs be.
Metinho and Kayky, then, look like ideal candidates to do just that.
