Manchester City are maintaining an interest in Juventus midfielder, Adrien Rabiot, according to Italian news outlet, Calciomercato.
The Frenchman is said to be one of the players Juve are open to selling this summer as they look to bring some cash through the door in order to tie down some of their higher-earners.
And Rabiot is one of those players, along with former Arsenal man Aaron Ramsey. The Frenchman has been in and out of proceedings ever since he completed a move to Turin from PSG.

However, Pep Guardiola is still keen on the midfielder, it seems. And in fairness to Rabiot, he does have fine pedigree. He won five titles with PSG before being part of the Juventus title-winning team from last season.
City have been linked with Rabiot already this year. However, that report from Tuttosport at the time claimed a move was unlikely. It seems, then, that Juve’s stance has shifted a tad.
TBR View: Rabiot a fine player but would be left in a similar position
The issue for Rabiot in moving to Man City is that he’d find himself in a similar scenario to that he is in at Juventus.
He’s not going to dislodge the midfielders already in place at City and so he might well find himself bench warming again.
Rabiot is a fine player and would no doubt improve the City squad. But if Juventus demand a hefty fee, then Guardiola might be best looking elsewhere for some better value for money.
