According to Sport Bild, Manchester City could move again for Bayern’s Kingsley Coman, after initally trying to get the Frenchman last summer.

Coman is a wanted man it seems heading into the 2021 summer window. Bayern want to tie him down to a new deal, while the Sun claims Manchester United could be prepared to offer him a £260k-a-week deal to move to Old Trafford.

However, Bild believes that it is both Manchester clubs who may make a move for Coman. It would follow up on interest from 2020, where Pep Guardiola was thought to be keen on landing Coman as Leroy Sane made the switch to Bayern.

Coman, a full French international with 25 caps to his name, has impressed again this season. He’s scored six times for the German outfit, contributing a further 11 assists along the way as well.

His current contract runs until 2023, meaning the window of opportunity is likely to be opening for onlooking admirers like City and United.

TBR View: Coman a world-class player, he’d be a fine signing for anyone

The thought of City adding even more quality to their already star-studded squad is quite frigthening in all honesty. They’ve been simply breathtaking at times this season.

Adding Coman would only improve them further. And while he’s not a striker, his adaptability and versatility means he’d fit in nicely with Pep Guardiola’s masterful ways.

However, United are also in the mix. It could be, then, that we see a nice battle heat up in the market with a bit of luck.
