Report: Man Utd target De Gea replacement who conceded just six times last term
According to the Mirror, reports in Spain suggest that Manchester United are eyeing a move for Atletico Madrid shot-stopper Jan Oblak before allowing David De Gea to depart. With the Red Devils resigned to losing their first choice goalkeeper this summer, the club have allegedly earmarked the Slovenian as his ideal predecessor
Oblak was only signed by Atleti boss Diego Simeone last summer, but, having made only 11 league appearances between the sticks for the Vicente Calderon outfit, he could already be on his way out of the club. Nonetheless, despite his lack of game time, the 2013/14 La Liga champions are reluctant to sell the 22-year-old, and will only entertain big bids if they are to consider letting him go.

Manchester United fans are likely to remember for Atleti man for his impressive Champions League cameo in the club’s two-legged knock-out tie versus Real Madrid. During this match-up he played a vital role for the Spanish outfit, restricting the attacking players at Real’s disposal to just one goal in 180 minutes.
