A report from the Yorkshire Evening Post has suggested that Victor Orta was indeed heading out of Manchester Airport to meet a potential signing after images surfaced of the Leeds United director of football on social media on Thursday.
Leeds are yet to make their first new signing following their promotion to the Premier League. The Whites however, have managed to turn Illan Meslier’s loan into a permanent move.
But perhaps the fans’ wait for a new face could soon end.
Understandably, plenty of supporters were speculating when photos emerged of Orta at the airport on Thursday morning.

And the Yorkshire Evening Post has now reported that Orta was indeed leaving the country to meet a potential signing.
It remains to be seen whether Leeds will soon be able to make an announcement. Of course, Orta will be incredibly busy this summer and will probably speak about more players who do not join than do end up at Elland Road.
But the supporters will be holding out hope that Orta – who has become a real cult-hero during his time at Leeds – has plenty to smile about upon his return to England.
