According to the Independent, Jude Bellingham speaks regularly with Jadon Sancho about life at Manchester United, amid interest from Liverpool.

What’s the story?

Well, the Daily Star believe Bellingham is Liverpool’s top target.

Jürgen Klopp is eyeing an £80m deal for the 18-year-old, who has the potential to become a Ballon d’Or winner one day.

However, it seems he’s certainly got one eye on a move to Manchester United, as he’s in frequent contact with Sancho.

Bellingham was given a tour of Manchester United’s Carrington training ground, before opting to join Borussia Dortmund in a £25m deal.

That might not mean much, but the fact he’s already experienced behind the scenes life with the Red Devils is something Liverpool can’t boast.

Jude Bellingham would be mad to join Manchester United over Liverpool

In our view, Bellingham would be a fool to choose Manchester United over Liverpool.

Under Klopp, the teenager has a much better chance of silverware in comparison to Ole Gunner Solskjaer, who is yet to win a trophy in Manchester.

Additionally, Klopp has shown he can develop players into world class footballers, such as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson.

In Solskjaer’s case, the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka have gone backwards under him, while there are certainly question marks over his overall quality as a manager.

Interestingly, the Independent believe Bellingham values a clear development path over a significant salary.

If that is true, we can see the 8-cap England international opting for Anfield over Old Trafford, where he can become an all-time great.
