Leicester City’s Harvey Barnes is said to have big admirers in Liverpool’s recruitment staff, although any move to Anfield could be unlikely, Goal say.
Liverpool don’t have limitless cash reserves and as a result prising Barnes away from the King Power Stadium is not set to be easy.
It is claimed by Goal that Leicester’s demands for Barnes could make him practically impossible to get hold of.
That could be a disappointment for Liverpool, who are said to be on the hunt for a new attacker.
Barnes is very much a player on the Reds’ radar, according to the latest update, but any deal seems some way off right now.
An ideal fit
If Barnes was to join Liverpool he would, of course, be a hugely welcomed addition.

The forward is just 23, and is coming off the best season of his career to date, which saw him labelled as ‘unbelievable’ by Reds boss Klopp (Metro).
Barnes netted 13 goals in 35 games for Leicester last term, before his season was curtailed prematurely with injury.
His pace and direct running would make him a natural fit for Liverpool’s system, which demands that their attackers are energetic and lively throughout.
