Liverpool’s players are convinced that Mohamed Salah is going to stay, the Athletic report.
Salah to stay?
Salah has constantly been linked with a move away from Liverpool, and his contract now has under two years remaining on it.
Liverpool are in the process of offering their main goalscorer a new deal.
And his Reds teammates see no reason why Salah won’t commit his future at Anfield.
Liverpool’s players apparently feel that Salah, who has been described as ‘unbelievable’ by Michael Owen (BT Sport), is focused on breaking club record and wants to become a legend on Merseyside.
Great news
If Liverpool’s squad are correct then it will be a major boost for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

If Salah does pen a new deal any doubts over him leaving will surely be cast aside.
Salah is now 29, and will likely be too old to be of interest to any major sides by the next time his contract runs down, if he puts pen to paper.
The Egyptian has already started this season in wonderful form, as he netted a brilliant goal as Liverpool beat Norwich City 3-0 on opening day.
