Liverpool winger Xherdan Shaqiri is set to stay at Anfield, with offers from overseas reportedly not forthcoming.
Goal report that the Switzerland international is now expected not to be on the move today, despite earlier claims of interest from teams across Europe.

The Independent claimed via their live blog (8.54am) that Lazio and Sevilla were interested in a raid, while Takvim (via The Independent, 9.37am) have also reported interest from Fenerbahce.
But Goal say the player is unlikely to be leaving the club before the 11pm deadline.
In fact, they go on to say that he is expected to stay put until at least January with no formal offers having been received.
That said, the £80,000-a-week star Shaqiri (Spotrac) could well leave for another team in England before then, with the domestic window remaining open until October 16.

Certainly, he doesn’t appear to be in the immediate plans of Jurgen Klopp having made just one EFL Cup appearance so far.
TBR’s View – Shaqiri needs to push for an exit
So it appears the 28-year-old may not be going anywhere today, but the player really needs to try and get a move somewhere before the domestic window shuts.
With the likes of Takumi Minamino, Curtis Jones and Naby Keita now playing more prominent roles for the Reds, he is just going to end up warming the bench in 2020/21.
