Liverpool want to sign highly-rated wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga during the summer to complement their quota of midfield talent, according to Spanish outlet Sport.
The 17-year-old is currently playing for Rennes who sit third in Ligue 1 and he is likely to become a wanted man when the transfer window reopens.
Camavinga has been compared to former world-class Manchester City star Yaya Toure, due to his physicality, athleticism and intelligence with the ball.

Liverpool are prepared to pay up to £45 million for his services and will probably be up against several top European sides to try and seal his signature.
Boss Jurgen Klopp will want to do a bit of a reshuffle during the summer with several of his fringe players set to depart for pastures new.
The Likes of Xherdan Shaqiri, Adam Lallana, Harry Wilson and Divock Origi could all leave at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
Camavinga is a product of the Rennes youth academy and despite his tender years, he has already played 43 games at first-team level for the French outfit.
This season he has registered two assists and scored a goal, playing 34 matches in all competitions as a defensive midfielder.
Inevitable
Rennes would dearly love to keep hold of their prized midfield maestro but a departure does look to be on the cards.

Camavinga is strong in the tackle, passes the ball well and would be a real asset in Klopp’s midfield three.
With Liverpool’s midfield all of a similar age, having some youthful exuberance as an option would be ideal.
If the Reds could land the youngster for the figures being quoted it could represent a sound investment for the future.
With that in mind, Liverpool should do all they can to bring Camavinga to Anfield this summer.
