Report: Liverpool want Leicester centre-back Caglar Soyuncu
Liverpool are interested in Caglar Soyuncu, with the Daily Mirror reporting that the Leicester City star is one of the names on their five-man centre-back wishlist.
It is no surprise to see Jurgen Klopp’s men turn some attention to the summer. The Reds have obviously endured an incredible run with injuries this season, particularly at the heart of their defence.

The Athletic reported on Monday that talks over a move for Ibrahima Konate have reached an advanced stage. And the Daily Mirror reports that he is one of five names being considered.
The Mirror suggests that a permanent move for Ozan Kabak remains an option. Meanwhile, both Ben White and Duje Caleta-Car are also named on the wishlist.

However, perhaps the most interesting name on the list is Soyuncu. The Daily Mirror reports that he has impressed Michael Edwards.
Soyuncu has been superb for the Foxes since the start of last season. It is remarkable to recall just how little he played during his first year at the King Power Stadium.
Interestingly, the 24-year-old started alongside Kabak for Turkey last week as they beat the Netherlands 4-2 in their World Cup qualifier.
It may now be that Soyuncu could be vying with Kabak for a place in Liverpool’s squad next season.
Brendan Rodgers claimed in 2019 that their 20 million signing is ‘fantastic’ and ‘only going to get better’, during an interview with Sky Sports.
It seems the Leicester boss’ former club may feel the same way.
