The Daily Mail have claimed that Liverpool, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City and Manchester United are all interested in making a late move to sign AFC Bournemouth attacker David Brooks before Friday’s 5pm deadline.
Brooks, 23, was an £11.5million (Mail) signing from Sheffield United in the summer of 2018 – but the Wales international has managed just 46 appearances for the Cherries since. A long-term injury hampered his progress last season.
He showed his quality in the Premier League during 2018-19, though. Clocking up 30 Premier League appearances, Brooks had a hand in 12 goals – scoring seven and creating five. Following Bournemouth’s relegation, his future is in doubt.
With less than three days left in the window, it looks unlikely that a deal could occur. But the report claims all five Premier League sides are interested, and if an offer of £40million is tabled – then they could cash in before the deadline.

TBR’s view – Which club suits Brooks?
Brooks needs game time. He needs to maximise his potential and play catch-up after a season struggling with injuries. Manchester United boast Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood out wide, making a move to Old Trafford pointless.
Spurs have loads of talent out wide, strengthened either further by the addition of Gareth Bale. Liverpool, too, with Diogo Jota signed as cover for the front three. Everton and Leicester would be his best options.
The Toffees have got rid of Theo Walcott and Bernard is expected to leave soon. Brooks would get plenty of game time, while at Leicester, Brooks would surely fancy his chances of breaking into the side of Ayoze Perez.
