Liverpool will allow Shamal George to leave the club to join League Two Swindon Town on a free transfer, as reported by The Daily Mail.
The 21-year-old has never featured for the Reds’ first-team, and is leaving the club after 10 years.
He has previously been loaned out to Carlisle and Tranmere Rovers.

George will leave on the expiry of his contract, and Liverpool have apparently included an unspecified sell-on clause.
The club are expected to sell Simon Mignolet this summer, but it would seem the Premier League is just too great a level for promising stopper George at present.
TBR’s view
At the age of 21 it is important for George to be playing as much football as he can.
Swindon could be a great move for him, and a good basis for him to potentially move up the leagues and perhaps earn Liverpool some money via that sell-on clause.

If Mignolet does depart as expected it is thought that the Reds will dip into the transfer market to find cover for Alisson.
It is the right decision for George to leave the club now, having made just 10 first-team appearances in his fledgling career so far.
