Liverpool have been linked with a summer move for exciting young French midfielder Pape Gueye, according to a report by The Express.
The 21-year-old has played 25 times for Ligue 2 outfit Le Havre during 2019/20 and looks like a player for the future.
Arsenal and Manchester United are also thought to be alongside Liverpool in the race to sign the youngster.
The report claims that the uncompromising midfielder could be available for as little as £5 million.

French football expert Julian Laurens has backed the player to be a hit and told ESPN some more information on the youngster.
He said: “I love him! I absolutely love him. He’s the revelation of Ligue 2, the French second division, at Le Havre.
“He’s been fantastic in midfield this season, he’s only 21 so he’s very young, people will have to be patient with him.
“What he’s shown so far in the second division, extraordinary qualities, he’s fantastic at pretty much anything.”
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has shown willing when it comes to playing youngsters in his first-team.
The likes of Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Neco Williams have all featured this season.
Gueye looks as though he could be a future star and signing him for £5 million looks like a no-brainer.

The midfielder would add some youthful exuberance to a midfield that is well-stocked with experienced performers.
Gueye typically operates as a defensive midfielder and his arrival could see one of Liverpool’s current crop head out.
Naby Keita has struggled for consistency since arriving at Anfield and he would perhaps be the favourite to head elsewhere.
