Liverpool are willing to let flop goalkeeper Loris Karius leave for nothing during January, with Jurgen Klopp finally agreeing to the German leaving.
Karius has had a nightmare spell with Liverpool even since signing for the club in a £4.7m deal back in 2016. His last performance came in a horror show of a Champions League final against Real Madrid in 2018.

And now, The Mirror has claimed that Karius will be allowed to walk away for nothing in January. The 28-year-old is out of contract anyway in the summer, but it will give him the chance to find a new club quickly if he goes in January.
Ever since Alisson joined the club, Karius has struggled and the Brazilian’s brilliance has highlighted his flaws even more. He’s spent the last three seasons out on loan, and apparently refused a move to Basel this summer.
TBR’s View: Karius needs to leave Liverpool, it’s just not worked
What a disaster this has been. Karius has been simply woeful since his arrival and will always be remembered for that Champions League nightmare in 18.
He needs to leave for his own good. Obviously, he will back himself and he hasn’t done too badly in recent loan spells away from Anfield. But this decision from the Reds is an admission that, simply, Karius isn’t good enough.
The trick now will be for him to find a new club and get the confidence back in his game. Someone will take a punt on Karius, so it’s not the end of the world if he leaves in January.
