Liverpool look set to miss out on the potential signing of Jamal Musiala, with the youngster set to pen fresh terms with Bayern Munich.
The 17-year-old Englishman has burst onto the scene this season with Bayern and looks set to be one of the next big talents to emerge from the Bundesliga.

Both Liverpool and Man United are said to have tracked Musiala but, according to Sky Germany, the youngster is now set to agree new terms with Bayern and sign his contract in February.
Musiala is eligible to sign his contract at the end of February, when he turns 18. The news will be a bitter blow to the likes of Jurgen Klopp, who had been hoping to prize him away from Germany, per a report from Goal in December.

The youngster has played 18 times this season in all competitions, netting three goals along the way. Born in Germany, he is an English citizen and will be firmly on the radar of Gareth Southgate already.
A blow, but always an unlikely coup this one – TBR View
It was always going to be hard to get Musiala to change his mind and leave Munich, and so it has panned out that way.
The youngster looks a frightening talent and a player who should go on to have a massively successful career in the game. Bayern will be delighted to tie him down.
However, don’t be surprised to see him rock up in the Premier League at some stage, albeit for a mammoth fee no doubt.
