Liverpool’s staff are said to have noticed a difference in Harvey Elliott in training this season, in a report by Goal.com.
Big chance
Elliott has been part of Liverpool’s pre-season tour of Austria, but his training regime actually started earlier than many of his teammates.
The youngster apparently returned to training early, to try and get his fitness levels up.
Elliott trained with Liverpool’s under-23 side, and the hard work he has put in seems to have paid off.
The creator has reportedly been noticeable different in training this time around, with Liverpool’s staff picking up on his physical improvements.
There is now a belief that it is just a matter of time before the teenager breaks into their first-team.
Making a splash

Elliott proved that he was capable of making an impact in men’s football already last season, when he put in some brilliant showings in the Championship for Blackburn.
It may now be that Liverpool keep him around and utilise him as attacking cover this term.
The Reds are thought to be on the hunt for another forward player, but if the answer could come from within their squad then it would be a boost to the club’s finances and may allow them to spend more on improving other areas of their squad.
Elliott actually started in central midfield for Liverpool in their first friendly of the season.
But he is generally more comfortable playing as part of a front three, and if he is used at Liverpool this season it seems most likely that the wing positions are the slots he will be competing for.
