Liverpool are reportedly keen on making a move for Crystal Palace striker, Alexander Sorloth, according to a report from the Turkish news outlet, Fanatik.
Sorloth has been in blistering form this season during a loan spell with Trabzonspor.
The Norwegian has plundered in the goals for the Turkish side. After joining from Palace in the summer, Sorloth has fired in 25 goals in all competitions this season.
However, a move to Liverpool would surprise most fans who follow the Premier League closely.
Sorloth has failed to score for Palace since arriving in England. Indeed, he’s spent more than a year away from the club out on loan, first with Gent, and now with Trabzonspor.
Liverpool are looking to potentially strengthen the ranks this summer. In particular, they could look to lighten the load on Roberto Firmino upfront.
Sorloth, then, if he can maintain his current form, could well prove to be a sensible option for the Reds.

We’ve seen it countless times in football. Sometimes, for one reason or another, a spell just doesn’t go to plan for a player with certain clubs.
This looks to be the case with Sorloth and Palace. However, he’s clearly proven himself capable this season and knows where the back of the net is.
The market is bound to be a bit different once the global crisis is over and done with. Sorloth, then, might well prove a shrewd signing from Liverpool.
He won’t cost the world, will have a point to prove, and will get plenty of chances in a Reds team full of attacking intent.
