Liverpool has apparently tabled their opening bid for Norwich City defender, Jamal Lewis, with the Reds offering the Canaries a fee in the region of £10m for the full-back.
However, according to Sky Sports, that first offer has been flatly rejected by the Norwich board, who are holding out for more for one of their prized assets.

The 22-year-old enjoyed a stellar season for Daniel Farke’s men, despite Norwich failing to stave off relegation back to the Championship.
Along with fellow full-back, Max Aarons, Lewis has become one of the hottest properties in English football. Liverpool, who are keen on adding back-up for Andy Robertson, is the first club to make a formal move.

But Sky Sports claims the Canaries are holding out for around £20m for their man. If that is the case, then Jurgen Klopp will have to come back with more for a player that Northern Ireland legend Sammy McIlroy described as a ‘tremendous prospect with fantastic ability’.
This offer is a bit derisory, Norwich do right to reject – TBR View
It’s easy to see where Liverpool are coming from here but £10m is a bit of a poor opening offer, to be honest.
Lewis is worth far more to Norwich than that. They might as well not sell him if that’s the amount they are going to end up accepting.
However, Liverpool are probably just testing the water. The Reds will, no doubt, be back with a bigger and better offer. And it will be worth it too, with Klopp desperate for more squad depth this term.
