Liverpool are alongside Arsenal in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa this summer, according to a report from Spanish outlet Sport.
Kurzawa’s contract at Parc des Princes is set to expire in the coming months, according to Sport. And it appears that he has a number of clubs monitoring his situation.

Sport suggests that the Gunners and Reds are battling with Inter Milan and Napoli. It is also claimed that Barcelona have been offered the 27-year-old.
Sport adds that Kurzawa’s representatives have previously been told that he will be released this summer.

It is noted that Barca have a good relationship with those representatives, and the La Liga leaders may be looking for a new backup at left-back when the window opens.
TBR View – Liverpool move could be shrewd business from Reds
Kurzawa may seem an uninspiring target for the team on the cusp of Premier League glory. But he could arguably be a shrewd addition for the Reds if he does head to Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp lacks depth at left-back. So it would be no surprise if he decided to bring in cover for Andrew Robertson when the window arrives.
Kurzawa has done fairly well during his time in Paris. He has reached double figures for top flight appearances in every season he has been at PSG. And he has also featured in the Champions League.
On a free transfer, he may prove to be a very decent signing.
Reds fans may be hoping for more exciting deals to be done. But it could prove to be a very good piece of business if Liverpool beat the likes of Arsenal and Barca to his signature.
