Four of the Premier League’s biggest clubs are plotting swoops for West Bromwich Albion wonderkid Rico Richards.
According to The Sun, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all want Richards. The teenager has caught the eye already and his contract situation is alerting the Premier League big boys.
Richards is out of contract next summer and West Brom are working hard to tie him down. After losing Louie Barry and Morgan Rogers to Barcelona and Man City respectively, West Brom do not want any other youngsters leaving.

But Richards’ situation has caught the attention of four Premier League teams. The 16-year-old is a regular for the U18 side and he is already training with the club’s U23 team despite his young age.
Richards plays anywhere across the attacking midfield line and is considered to be a top talent for the future. The battle is on for Richards’ future with the Baggies trying to tie him down before the bigger clubs swoop.
TBR’s view
This could be a pivotal few months in Richards’ career and he needs to make the right career choice. Does he stick with West Brom and try to break into the first-team in two or three years’ time?
Or does he make a big move to the Premier League and hope to make his name there? The England U17 winger could be tempted if a decent offer comes in.
