Report: Liverpool officials think player will push for exit
Liverpool officials understand why Neco Williams is wanting to leave and expect him to push for a move soon, the Athletic say.
The full-back has been linked with Leeds United recently. Liverpool now think that the move could happen soon.
Goal actually say that Leeds have already made contact over signing the full-back.
Williams was at Euro 2020 with Wales, but following their exit from the competition, it seems that his focus will return to club matters.

The full-back wants to play regularly and Liverpool officials sympathise with the defender over his stance.
As a result he will be allowed to leave if bids of around £10 million come in.
What’s the impact on Liverpool?
If Williams does depart it is unlikely to immediately impact on the quality of their starting line-up.
However, the Liverpool academy graduate provided solid cover over the past campaign.
Williams’ ability to play in both full-back positions made him a useful asset to have in the squad.
And if Williams does depart Liverpool may have to consider looking into the market. That way they can ensure that they are not left short of cover on the sides on their defence.
