Sports World Ghana claims that Liverpool now want to sign World Cup star Mohammed Kudus in January – and he’s already suggested he’s open to a move away from Ajax.
Liverpool have got off to an inconsistent start to the Premier League season but did pick up two wins on the bounce before the World Cup.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have been brilliant in the Champions League and breezed through the group stage.
But they’re now 15 points behind league leaders Arsenal after a rocky start in the league and Klopp may want to add some fresh faces to his squad in January.
And it seems that they could be aiming to bolster their attacking options with Ajax’s versatile midfielder Kudus.

Liverpool want Kudus in January
Sports World Ghana reports that Liverpool scouts will be watching Kudus tomorrow as Ghana face Portugal in their World Cup opener.
The Reds are apparently hopeful they can bring him to Anfield in January but they’ll face stiff competition for his signature.
AC Milan, Juventus, Dortmund and Everton have all shown an interest in signing the 22-year-old.
Kudus is enjoying a real breakthrough season in Holland after he was seemingly close to leaving Ajax over the summer.
The attacking midfielder has scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 21 appearances for the Dutch champions.

The Ghanaian is proving to be an extremely versatile player too, as he’s played in different roles in midfield as well as leading the line for Ajax this season.
He also suggested last week that he would be open to a move away from Holland in the future.
When asked by Algemeen Dagblad whether he’s now committed to a long-term future at Ajax, he replied: “Not necessarily.
“I’m a player who likes to challenge himself. This is my third season here. We’ll see what the future brings.
“The most important thing is that I just keep performing for the team, and the rest will follow naturally later.”
Liverpool have witnessed the youngster play first-hand this season as he scored a brilliant goal at Anfield in the Champions League.
Kudus would be a brilliant addition to Klopp’s side and is capable of filling various roles in the team.
